On Sunday, July 13, one of Montego Bay’s premier food fiestas, the Caribbean Shrimp Festival, will return to the Whitter Village in Ironshore for its third annual staging.
Shrimp lovers will get an opportunity to sample their favourite dishes, with additional new recipes and preparations on display. Of particular interest is a shrimp-sea crab combination that will be prepared by the Drunken Squid Restaurant. There will also be a celebrity chef cook-off featuring Executive Chef Anthony Miller from Hedonism II, Negril.
At the festival’s official launch, held Monday night at Iberostar Resort in Montego Bay, Executive Director Jackie Norman said: “This year, we will be offering a three-for-one deal that allows patrons to pay one price and sample three different varieties of shrimp dishes.
